Issues to be discussed in the group and possibly in panels
at the conference.
Up to now we have been occupied in presenting our earlier
work. Now it is important to determine what topics, if any,
are of common interest to us all (preferably) or to
substantial subsets.
1. Can mental qualities be ascribed piecemeal?
2. What is the scope of the cryptographic argument?
I should find examples of sweeping statements that are
sharply contrary to the probable cryptographic facts.
3. Approximate theories?
4. Should we formalize bits of common sense and is this a
worthwhile activity for philosophers?
